Our team continuously reviews and adjusts these abilities to ensure a balanced and thrilling gameplay experience for everyone. Skills
Abilities are the power of the Morador, which can be used depending on the Fortress Rank of the gate. They offer the player diverse survival options within the abyss, promoting strategic customization and balancing accessibility with depth for players of all skill levels.
Skill Classification
Each Morador can carry a single skill, classified into one of the following four categories:
Category O
Category A
Category B
Category AB
Each category determines how skills interact with amulets and modifiers, adding an extra tactical layer to character development.
Levels
The player can upgrade their skills during each descent by sacrificing blood shards at altars.
Primary and secondary skills can level up during each descent.
Skill levels reset at the start of a new descent, forcing the player to rethink their development strategy every attempt.
The maximum skill level achievable in a descent is determined by the Gate’s Fortitude Rank:
Fortitude I allows levels up to 10.
Fortitude II allows levels up to 20.
Fortitude III allows levels up to 30.
Fortitude IV allows levels up to 40.
This rank-based progression introduces a stepped growth system that rewards exploration, decision-making, and tactical adaptation.
Types of Skills
Primary Skills
These are the offensive core of combat, allowing attacks at both close and long range. These skills are executed through the Morador’s own blood, a vital resource that transforms its essence into a weapon.
Secondary Skills
Provide tactical or support improvements without a direct role in offensive combat.
Special Skills
Powerful abilities that significantly influence gameplay and require careful management to maximize their impact.
Wrath: Increases all damage by 5% for 60 seconds.
Pride: Allows plasma consumption without using it for 30 seconds.
Gluttony: Instantly absorbs 5% of the blood from nearby enemies (1m radius).
Lust: Absorbs 5% of the platelets from enemies within a 1m radius.
Sloth: Applies slowness to all nearby enemies (1.5m radius) for 30 seconds.
Greed: Instantly restores 100% of blood, platelets, and plasma.
Envy: Grants total invulnerability for 5 seconds.
